In its effort to ensure diversity and inclusiveness of PowerMEMS2023, New York University Abu Dhabi is happy to announce a New Inclusion Initiative to provide conference support for 3 participants who represent racial and/or ethnic minorities or reside in underserved communities that are not typically represented in this conference. Female participants and participants from the MENA region, South Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa are particularly encouraged to apply for this support. The support will cover travel tickets, conference fees, and accommodations for the three days of the conference. Only participants who are presenters of an accepted abstract can apply for the initiative support

To apply for the support, please submit a 1-page summary of your background to the following e-mail: info@powermems.org with the title "NYUAD Inclusion Initiative". In the document, please explain how attending the conference would contribute to your growth as a researcher and would encourage others from a similar background pursue academic research. All summaries will be thoroughly reviewed by the conference chairs and the successful participants will be contacted to arrange for their conference travel.
