Transportation from Rotana Beach Hotel to conference venue and vice versa will be provided to the conference attendees free of charge. Pick up from Rotana Beach Hotel main lobby is scheduled everyday at 8:00 AM. Pick up time from the conference venue varies depending on when the conference activities end. More details will be provided during the conference. In case you missed the bus or plan to come to and/or leave the conference venue at a different time, Taxis are the best mode of transportation. They are typically available at the entrance of the hotel and in front of the NYU Abu Dhabi welcome center. The cost is around 40 AED ($12). In Abu Dhabi, Taxi drivers are very professional and you should have a very convenient and safe experience. You can pay using a credit card, but it is prefered to carry some cash in the local currency (AED).

Transportation from the Airport to Beach Rotana Hotel
If you arrive in Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), you can take a Taxi to Beach Rotana Hotel. The trip takes between 30-45 min depending on traffic conditions. The cost is between 80-100 AED ($22-$28). If you arrive in Dubai International Airport (DXB), the trip takes around 1 hr 45 min, and costs between 250-300 AED ($69-$82). There are no other convenient modes of direct transportation between the two cities. One option is to take the metro from terminal 3 metro-station 2 to Ibn Battuta Mall (1 hr trip costs 15 AED), then take the bus from Ibn Battuta Mall to Abu Dhabi's Central Station (buses run every 20 min (2 hrs trip costs 35 AED)). Once you arrive in Abu Dhabi's central station, you can take a Taxi to the hotel (10 minutes trip costs 20 AED).
